SMC v2 Alky kit - Trunkmount!
SOLD!
Selling my SMC v2 Alky kit. Kit was installed for about 12 months on my 05 VIII. I have had zero issues with this kit and run nothing but 100% denatured alcohol through it (this is what SMC recommends, doesn't hurt pumps like meth does). I ran 26psi on my stock turbo and an IX turbo daily and the pump still tests out just dandy. Everything that came with this kit is included, this is probably the easiest kit to install on the market, and perhaps the most reliable.
I'm selling:
1 Gallon Tank
Low level switch (mounted in tank)
SMC pump (mounted, lifetime warranty from SMC)
Braided SS line that runs from the trunk all the way to the engine bay
T-fitting with m7 nozzle on one side and pressure gauge on the other side
SMC v2 controller w/ harness that runs to the back to the pump and fuse for power.
This is probably the most complete, plug-and-play kits on the market, installation was VERY easy, and everything tucks nicely behind the trunk lining, and the alky line runs nicely under the car along the stock fuel lines, and even uses the stock fuel line hangers.
The kit is currently installed on my car, but I will be removing it this sunday (Feb 23) and boxing it up to be shipped to whomever wishes to give it a new home . Alky kits are good for mountains of torque and good increase in peak whp, worth every penny.
If you have any q's, please post here. I'm looking for $400 shipped. paypal to chris @ snowsecurity.com with subject SMC Alky kit and I'll consider it yours. Don't wait around on this, these tend to go quick.
Here's pics from when I first got it, it looks the same still
