ok, got an evo in the shop today, i have confirmed that the setrab 625 oil cooler will fit damn near perfect, also, the setrab bracket will fit almost exactly like the stock bracket, at the worst it may require a hole be drilled to line up with the stock bolt location.
one thing I do need to confirm is the thread size for the stock oil cooler ports coming off the filter housing, anyone happen to have one of those fittings sitting around, on the 3kgt it is a M16 x 1.5 fitting, I would assume its the same but i want to make 100% sure. Everything else is a go.

it has 25 rows opposed to the stock 12 rows, the setrab rows are a bit thinner than stock so I would say roughly 75% more. Its a superior design by far, it has much more densly packed cooling fins compared to the stock one.
I will call mitsu to find out the thread size/pitch on those oil fittings and we can get this going.
Fitment is definitely not a problem, the setrab bracket is setup just like the stock one so really very little modificaton should be necessary, and they are very close in size as well, the setrab is a bit longer than the stock one, but there is also another 2.5" in room both above and below the cooler in the stock setup so it will fit well within the available parameters.

still waiting for confirmation from mitsu, i may just wind up going down there and measuring one with a caliper, i am sure its m16 x 1.5 pitch but i want to be 100% sure.
