How do these attach to the sills? Double sided tape? Let me know. Might be interested

 

Correct, double sided tape.

 

Do these cap the plastic sills that are already on the car? If you dont know what I mean, pm me and Ill try to clear it up. The oem ones from mitsu seem to 'cap' the plastic sill guards so the look nice and neat, like they were always meant to be there. The reason I ask is because these seem to be thin aluminum without and lip to cover the plastic up.
