A week to ship something is unacceptable. I expect something I payed for to be shipped out within 3 days but will make exceptions if the seller has stuff going on.
Look at it this way, you order a part online and upon them receiving payment they have usually 24-48 hours of processing prior to shipping it out. Buying something privately should be no different.
