FS: Clarion in-dash touchscreen DVD player and Eclipse 4 channel amp
Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico
Alright, up for sale again (last buyer had a fraudulent payment on PayPal) is the old setup I had in my EVO X before I sold it. I was going to hold on to it to put it in the new car, but I don't need a double din unit, so I'm looking to let it go. Feel free to PM me here for details or questions. Although my feedback here has no score, feel free to look at other FS posts I've started and merchandise I've sold with only positive feedback. Buyers rest assured.
The DVD screen is flawless, no scratches or blemishes. Also, the DVD player has a switch already wired in, so if you desire, you can watch video while on the move, and it has the iPod connector included.
Fair warning on the DVD player: every now and then you have to hit the close button a couple of times to get the motorized face to close. I have spoken with Clarion about this and it's a pretty common thing with these motorized faceplates. It could be that the ribbon cable from the housing to the screen is a bit loose as they suggested. I'm not sure. This doesn't affect the playback of cd's or DVD's. It could be a hassle for the buyer, so I'll disclose the fact. I haven't really noticed it because I don't open and close the unit, I had my iPod hooked up.
So here's the pics and specs on the DVD player:
