FS: AMS Lightweight Front Cross Member
SOLD!
Up for sale is AMS front cross member that is considerably lighter than your OEM cross member, just as strong and comes with their hard front mount built in. It's a nice piece and while this one is used, it has less than 2500 street miles and is in great shape.
I planned on using it myself but went a different route. Knowing how critical it is to save weight in the front end of the car I decided to use a nice piece of green bamboo, instead. Light and stiff it's a suitable replacement, though I continue to struggle with the motor mount bolts and random Panda lumbering after the car.
Anyway, the AMS front cross member retails for $275 and I'm offering this one up for $Sold plus PP fee and shipping. Even if you have their mount in place you want this to save the weight, just sell the mount or keep it as a spare.
Here's a pic which show the piece, which comes with the hardware.
Here's a link to the AMS site with more information about the piece.
