is this the cable i can tune on evoscan with

 

Datalog on EvoScan, tune with EcuFlash. Works for both evo 8 & 9 but not on the Evo X .

 

Which 1.3 is this U or R ?

 

Its the 1.3U version. I'll edit the first post to include the U.

 

So I cannt do any tuning with it

 

Evo's 7-8-9 can tune, flash, datalog etc.. with it.

I'm not sure what your asking . The tactrix 1.3U cable is used to connect the laptop and car to transfer/record data .

Ecuflash is the software we use to record the rom from the ecu and review/tune it and then flash/record the new tuned Rom back into the ecu .

Evoscan software is used to scan/record certain parameters that the ecu sees when the car is running .

A tuner reviews evoscan logs , adjusts/tunes the rom file and uses ecuflash to record it back onto the car.

I don't know if evoscan has the ability/features to actually tune .
