Quick question, did the rust on the coils have any effect on the adjustments or performance of them ?

no sir. I anti seized them and they moved freely and were very easy to adjust. But I took care of them. The only trust on mine was cosmetic, it was on the helper spring and on the lower mounts it had no effect on performance. But id double check before you but used, you just never know. The guy who bought mine bight his megans from a local guy in indiana and they were completely seized. He couldn't adjust them at all. So be . careful

Thanks, I am looking into a pair for my evo x and its a 2 hour drive away but the price is 400! which is great i.m.o, but I dont want to have the fart out on me. By the looks how would you feel about them lol ??

Tell him to loosen them take a phone video to verify the rebound so you know theyre not blown, also this will show theyre not seized. If that is good get them and wire wheel them and anti sieze them. My threads weren't that rusty but itll come off with a wire wheel or small wire brush.
