Just a couple of things to note. While these are great for Autox they are typically not allowed at HPDEs -- keep that in mind when you plan your races.
Second, it is downright dangerous to have a back seat passenger with this installed. Buschur and staff should not be promoting that...

good point. slightly off topic but i think it's important. most people assume that harness bars are allowed at all HPDE events but it depends on the club that you run with and how strict they are with safety. some clubs will allow short sleeve shirts, some wont. some allow 4 point harness, some wont (even with ASM). some allow convertible without roll bar, some wont. some allow suction cup camera mount, some wont.
when it comes to safety, don't take someone's word for it. there's a reason why safety equipment are certify by industry standards like SA helmets, SFI harness, FIA seats ect. has any harness bars been tested in a crash test with different scenario.
this picture has been circulated around the internet a million times. it might as well be a cheap ebay bar but it didn't fair to well. DB's bar looks like it's well made with the best materials but you won't know how it will performs until you crash. there's also a bunch of other reasons why you shouldn't use a harness without a proper roll bar but that's another topic. just my 2 cents.

honda-guy,
I think when "we" say HPDE event that should refer to NASA and I believe the NASA rules are a National deal, no? Other club events like BMW/Porsche/SCCA I have no idea how they all work.
Anyway, thanks for posting the picture. That appears to be a Sparco bar based on the sticker on it and the color/seat belt bars. No, it sure as hell didn't do very well, as a matter of fact it's down right scarey. The only thing I see that is positive from it all is if that bar was bent like that it HAD to help the side of the car stay intact some and possibly helped the driver/passenger not get crushed from the sides of the car coming in more.
It's scarier yet to see that and wonder what effect it had on the harnesses.
Do you know what kind of car that was? It's not an EVO.
