DBA Series 5000 Twin Disc Slotted Front Rotors and Hats

DBA 5000 rotors are two piece floating rotors and those little cracks are called heat checks. They are completely normal. I'm surprised you have any heat checks after 1000 miles but suspect they are tiny, right? maybe a couple of track days?
The discs can be replaced, keeping the hats, and the setup is much lighter than stock. I would take closer pics and post the rotor thickness. Either way, this is a screaming deal for excellent racing rotors. GLWS

It's actually less than 1000 miles. The rotors have four tracks days on them including some extended sessions. You're essentially buying the hats. I don't know enough about rotors to assess their condition. I purchased the car with these rotors and I replaced all the brakes immediately (including rears) to a Centric stock setup since I will not be tracking the car.

The key is insure that the fractures do not reach the outside or inside edges; if that happens then there is potential for the rotors to crack.
If the heat fractures are confined to the "meat" of the rotor, and the buyer is not going to track them then they will last quite a while longer under ordinary street use; and at that price are a bargain!
If the new owner is going to track them, just keep an eye on them and you will be fine...
There looks like there are some grooves that have developed...not sure tho
Here's a pic of my dba's from my IX race car...I would continue to run these on track without hesitation in the current condition, but would check them after every race as well. (the 2 lines at 1:00 o'clock and 7:00 o'clock are just reflections)
GLWS!
