WTB: Sprint Phone

Let me know what you have and at how much. Im mainly interested in the VM4500 and the PM-8920 (second choice to the 4500), but will consider other phones because i need a new phone asap.

post or pm your offer. Please dont give me rediculous prices like a VM4500 for $250.

Other phones i will consider are the 8200, VM4050, A680, PDA Phones, A700, PM-8920. Other than that offer me, who knows, im needing a new phone more and more each day, i might just jump on it.

i sell sprint phones. did you try calling sprint to see if they can upgrade your phone. if you are not under contract just threaten them with you taking your number to another company. also try a indirect dealer in your area that sells sprint. a lot of the times those guys will have phones laying around that they are willing to sell. i at this time do not. ebay is another area to look. good luck.

yea, i tried ebay, stuff ends too expensive, and the stuff that ends at reasonable prices i get outbid

I hate bidding on ebay, i never win.

I tried the sprint store, i dont qualify for the rebate, and i'm under contract till dec. 05.

if you get any phones you can sell, let me know.

TRUST ME!!!!! YOU DO NOT WANT THE VM4500!!!!!

They stopped making the vm4500 b/c they had sooo many problems with it.
All the ones that they still have are overstock.

I had it for 6 months and I would drop like 5 calls a day.

And plus, the video camera sucks ***...it's like watching streaming vid on a 56k modem, maybe worse.

I went to the sprint service center in westminster (ca), and swapped it for an a680 on the spot and haven't had a problem since.

My advice to you(of all the phones you mentioned), get the A680.

Thanks for the advice.

I actually heard about the drop call problem, there is a software problem with that, and if you have a vm4500 with the old software, sprint will hand you a brand new phone, just take it to the sprint store. Its manufacturers defect.

As for samsung, i'll consider the A680, but ive used samsung phones the last few times, and i wasnt happy. Theyre great for like 6 months, and then weird things start happening. The last samsung i had was the A620 (VGA1000) and it was great for 6 months, then started dropping calls like theres no tomorrow, the browser slowed to a snail pace, and it would restart itself like a computer for no damn reason, sometimes in the middle of a call. When i took it to the sprint store, they said its perfectly fine and did nothing about it.

I'll use samsung again if i get desperate and get a good deal (the a620 and a680 are based on the same screwy software), till then sanyo has always done me good. No problems. Ive been using an older 8100 for a while and its great. the only problem is that now the hands free jack is all messed up (and this is a 2 year old phone), i need that cuz i use hands free 90% of the time.

i recommend the 8200. my buddy has the a680 and it drops calls all the time. now sprint service in chicago is not the best. but i sell about 200 sprint phones a month between my two stores and the 8200 has the least amount of problems. check your pm and i might have a good solution.
