WTT Cat-back

Hi guys/gals I have an invidia cat back with aprox 6k miles. the sound is great but if i run a test pipe is a bit 2 loud for me. I would like to trade for a straight 3'' cat back like mine in good shape and quieter. In order for me to determine if i can deal with the sound i would have to hear the car in person. I bought this cat back based on people saying it was quiet and online clips and look where i am right now ......
I'm located in South FL 20 mins north of MIA.

I have the same Invidia N1 catback. It is loud sometimes but tolerable other times for me. Try flipping the midpipe, it's a straight piece, that's what I did. Of course my IX does'nt have cams so it's much quieter than my old VIII w/272s.

Or, if the trade does'nt happen, replace the muffler w/ magnaflow 7" core. I saw them for $50.

GL girlie...

bump for my home girlie

hey, why don't u try doing what that guy suggested? Change the muffler...makes a hell of a difference in noise level..i had the original buschur muffler and i changed it because it was too quiet...sounded like i didn't eve have TBE

..food for thought

yes, turn the midpipe around which will reposition the resonator to the rear from front. And you can do this on invidia since its midpipe is straight! I've done it. It seems a bit quieter after my tune.

I did it so that I can access the midpipe's o2 bung for my second o2 sensor hookup on my IX for wideband.
