WTB WW SE or 2011 Base MR
what the title says. I've heard that the 2011 base MR is basically the same as the 2010 SE. is this true? If so, I want one...if not, i'd like a 2010 WW SE if there are any left. can someone help me with this?

several SE to choose from. he even has a preowned 2008 MR for less than the price of the SE.

yeah, a guy from Don Herring pm'ed me when he saw this thread. It seems like that's where I'll be going. the price he's got is pretty damn great. I don't want any used cars though. I want an SE. It's got everything I want, none of the stuff I don't. As soon as I get my car sold, I'll be making the trip.
questions though: does the SE stereo have a jack for an ipod or do I have to get the 6-disc, or nav option? I really don't need or want nav, but I have to have some way to connect my ipod to the stereo.
also, what's the break in period on these? 600 miles like the IX?
also, my mods are in my sig and according to VD i'm making about 360-370whp. could I get anywhere close to that on the X with full TBE/O2 housing, upper ic pipe, and tune only? I don't want an open filter intake again, or any after market blow off valves.

Don Herring Jr. himself is the one who is on EvoM, not just some salesman (AFAIK).
There is an aux-input jack you can plug your iPod into.
600 miles per owner's manual.
360-370 whp on a real AWD dyno? Doubtful, but maybe on a DynoJet, no idea how your VDR is reading but your mods on the IX are minimal so basic mods on the X should be able to match that. My car is currently at 342/360 on Cobb's AWD Mustang dyno with the following power mods:
-AFE Stage 2 intake
-Perrin turbo inlet pipe
-Grimspeed 3-port BCS
-Nisei UICP
-MAP FMIC
-MAP o2 elim downpipe
-ETS testpipe
Cobb catback

Just checked out the website and they still have tons of SEs left. I'm actually looking for an 2010 MR. Can you provide me with the contact info with the person from Don Herring. I wonder if they can find a 2010 MR for me.
Thanks.
Thanks.

You should be able to connect your ipod via white and red RCA cables. FYI the factory headunit isnt capable of controlling your ipod for 2010 models. 2011's have fuse.
Only major options im aware of on the SE's is navi or non-navi. Don't think you can get the Rockford Fosgate system in a SE. Hope this helps.

Close probably. If your IX with your sig mods is ~370 I would think a X with the minimal mods you listed would be good for ~350+ assuming the same virtual dyno scale. X's are responding to mods almost as well as IX's did, but due to the slightly smaller turbo aren't quite fully there.
