Feeler: powdercoated evo 8 enkeis

SOLD
I just picked up another set of wheels so these gotta go.
$500 + shipping
$470 picked up.
Sun Gold Evo 8 Enkeis with tires, 95% tread.

Here is the spot in the lug hole where the powder didn't seem to cling to the surface. I didn't notice until they were already cleared. The clear coat went on fine.

One of the wheels had a couple marks on the lip. Here are some detailed pics.
The PC seemed to smooth out the indentations.

Tread depth.

Those wheels look marvelous. I wonder how they would look on my TB EVO.

Yes, all 4.

If anyone is interested. I'll be doing a set of BBS MR wheels next.

THat looks really good. I doubt you would get more then $400 for them though. I would pick them up if you were local.

Yeah, realistically, I don't expect to sell them, I mainly did it so I could see what the color would look like cause I really wanted to do a set of BBSes in gold.

Correct me if i am wrong. But I was told powdercoating these rims would make them weak. Is that right? Because I was thinking of powder coating mine not the same color though. Good job man.

To be honest, I have no clue. They're only in the oven @ 375* for 15min. I'm putting them on the car this evening, so I'll let you know in a few weeks. I always seem to find the large pot holes.
My BBSes have stood up to some major beatings, I once hit a pot hole so big that the tire went flat. Still, all of the wheels on a balancing machine are true and round, no flat spots.
