F/S: set of 4 265-35-18 Falken Azenis RT615, 70-75% tread (Colorado)
*** EDIT: SOLD to ElectricEvoIX as of 12/11/09 ***
These came off a set of used wheels I bought recently. Good condition overall, lots of tread left - there's between 4 to 5/32ths on all four tires. The wear is even as you can see in the pictures; no camber or alignment problem wear.
There is some very minor grooving in the sidewalls of two of the tires where they rubbed a little on the inside of the rear fenderwells when the car (an Evo) went over bumps, and one rub mark on the actual tread of one of the front tires (it's not deep at all) - see pics.
In case you're unfamiliar, Falken Azenis RT615s are pretty decent autox/track day tires that provide way more grip than your typical "ultra high performance" summer tire. The sidewall on the RT-615 is stiffer than any other street tire, giving you instantaneous turn-in response and driver feedback.
They're made in Japan by Ohtsu, Japan's 5th largest tire manufacturer. Falken is a marketing company, not a manufacturer, but that doesn't mean their tires are not performance proven. The RT615 is also exact tire the Falken professional drift team uses on their race cars.
Falken RT615s in the 265-38-18 size sell for $219 each at discounttiredirect.com, or almost $900/set; looking for $400/set + shipping.
If you're in Colorado, I'll consider meeting you half-way to pick them up, depending on where you are.
