Algernon Intelesse II

SOLD

UPDATE:
$1,290 Shipped.

UPDATE: So much interest but no one pulling the trigger yet.
Here's the deal: price drop till Wednesday! $1,400+ shipping.
I need some quick funds for another purchase. If I can't get it by Wednesday night, they'll be back up $100 as I'm not in a major rush to sell.

Thanks!

Extremely Rare and Beautiful Rim.

18x8 +36 (+11 with a spacer)
5x114.3

As you can see they are similar to Work VS-XX, but if you compare the two, you’ll notice they’re quite a bit different (most importantly, the Algernon’s have fewer bolts around the outer face).

I’ve had a thing for these rims for years but unfortunately, it’s going to take too much work for them to fit my evo. They will not properly clear the Evo’s big brembo calipers with unless 25mm spacers. The spacers end up pushing the rims too far out.

I bought them used from a Japanese Rim importer. They refinished the lips before they sent them to me. With that said, they are not perfect. There are also spots in the lug area where it looks like the socket scratched the paint. The lips still have some imperfections as well. But they are hard to see even while standing at them.

They are two piece rims. I included a picture of them (same exact specs) on an RSX and Acura TL just for reference. Mine are the rarer silver version.

If you’re tired of looking at the same damn rims on everyone’s cars, these will definitely set your car apart.

The 25mm ichiba spacers are also for sale.

They’ll go up for sale on other forums later this week.

(some more pics of a gold set: http://www.preludeonline.com/f30/alg...8-36-a-234674/ )

I'm asking $1,500obo

I've gotten a huge amount of interest in these rims, they will not last long (they shouldn't because they're pretty epic imo) Good luck!

I've never had 2 piece wheels - can the 2 pieces be pulled apart, if you wanted to have the center powdercoated?

Yup!. (though i think silver is the classiest color. I was planning on chroming or polishing the faces for ultra baller status).

Thanks! They look even better in person!! (sorry for the iphone pics).

But unless you change camber they're going to rub a tad on the rear fenders as well as the inner front fender. They don't limit your turning, but they rub hard on my mud flaps .

Or, if you ran a 255 35 instead of a 245 40, they may even fit perfect (255 35 has a lower diameter). I just have brand new 245 40

With the spacer they end up being 18x8 +11. HELLA FLUSH haha

I drive the car everyday to work and do not want to mess with camber and drag it so i need a optimal contact patch in a straight line.
