FS: (4) Like New Nitto NT555R Drag Radials 245/45/17
I have a practically brand new set of 4 NT555R Drag Radials. They were used to make all of 3 passes down the drag strip and that's it. They were not daily driven on and are in like-new condition.
These tires are AMAZING, super soft (you will feel it right away)... I cut multiple 1.5-1.6 sec 60' with ease and I'm one of the worst drivers in the world. They are also tall (much taller than the BFG Drag Radials) so they help out a lot with gearing, especially if you have a IX and/or a 6-speed.
Take a look at this video of them in action, these things just hook:

I'm selling because I am no longer tracking the car. Otherwise I would keep them, they're awesome tires.
I paid $648 for these, brand new.
I'm selling for $500 shipped or $450 picked up in Wakefield, MA.

The sidewalls are very soft. You could pump up the pressure to ~42 and they would be acceptable, but still softer than your average tire and MUCH softer than a typical "performance" tire.
They also wouldn't fare very well in the rain. If you don't do any high speed cornering or put a ton of miles on your car, they're perfectly streetable on dry pavement.

Ah nice, I have 245/40s right now, I was just concerned that any bigger sidewall wouldnt clear the splash guards, eventhough its only an extra 0.4inches more sidewall. Looks like a tight fit as it is. I have brand new continental dsw's right now and I havent gotten to the track with them yet, theyre reaaaally soft so Id love to see how they hook up at the track, Im pretty sure theyll be really overpowered tho when I get my car back and I dont wanna burn em up for winter and be riding around with no tread lol.
How much air were you running in them when you cut the 1.5 60 fts?
