It's 7075 Aluminum.
It's comprised of 90% aluminum and 2% Magnesium. It's misleading to tell people it's magnesium. Its just plain old 7075 Aluminum. I have a few bricks of it in my garage for CNC'ing parts. It has much better properties than 6061.

Get in touch with the manufacturer and ask them for a sample and test it out and let us know the results if you have your doubts.
Blackworks may have a special alloy composition that they use -- I work with a number of knife blade manufacturers and a lot of them have custom alloys they developed in concert with foundries that are variants on standard metals. They do this to differentiate their products from other knives. Blackworks may be doing the same thing for their lug nuts which allows them to market it as magnesium alloy.
