hmm i didnt know hks made a titanium dp, i thought only stainless steel...anyways this isnt a full 3 inch turboback system correct hks stuff tapers...is this authenic hks stuff, I'm just asking bc 850 for a whole hks turboback is pretty cheap imo bc the exhaust alone goes for like 700ish

i did not originally purchase this exhaust...it was on an evo that i took in trade for another car. the guy that owned the evo did not spare any expense when it came to the car. the DP has an HKS tag welded on to it and yes it is titanium. the exhaust does not taper at all...it has a resonator but maintains the inner diameter the whole way through. I just thought 850 would be a fair price since it is used. i think everything all together new was like 1300.

I still don't understand why people make such a big deal about a taper. I'd say 80% of all catbacks for the evo include a taper in order to bolt up to the stock cat. This taper will only matter when you're making the upwards of 500whp.

there are not any scratches that i could see on the can. it was never scraped or anything like that. i would say its really not too loud. it has a nice deep sound that you will definitly notice but its not ricer loud like some cars i see are. i think there is a video clip on the hks web site...http://www.hksusa.com/products/?id=715
