I'm not sure exactly on the size. The turbo outlet pipe looks thicker than stock and then it connects directly into the intercooler without winding around like the stock. The design idea is to shorten the LICP as much as possible.

I love CE28s, but I need to save the money for other mods.

do you know if other company's upper IC pipe will bolt to the buschur IC? does the outlet sit where the stocker does?

Well, IC piping doesn't "bolt" the intercooler. It attaches with a silicon coupling. The outlet on the Buschur FMIC is in the same place but the angle is slightly different, so you sometimes need to trim the coupling to make it work. You can definitely use stock upper piping with the Buschur FMIC, so I see no reason why you couldn't use other aftermarket upper piping with it also.

With this particular intercooler, the lower intercooler piping goes with it because it has non-stock, shorter routing. You can't use this FMIC without this particular lower piping.

Thanks,
