arc = expensive name but havnt seen any tests proven its worth it, on the other hand nisei has done the testing for you www.nisei-evo.com and they are on a 2 month backorder so this should sell easy!

At least im putting out 390whp now on stock turbo where u at lol.

Neways ARC front mount has one of the more better air flows then most fmic there have been 7 shops that have tested this fmic vs AMS, B/R , Greddy vspec ,HKS type R , XS and a few others this fmic came out on top everytime and can hold up to 825 whp without droping any airflow the only one that came close was the HKS Type R which droped air pressure at 35 psi and droped the hp almost 8% . Bottom line do some research.

auto2nr1,

People don't just changes intercoolers unless the intercooler that you have is incapable(in this case is not). I am not going to hold you down from not geting the ARC, I am sure the ARC is a good intercooler also but the way you are geting around I don't think you are improving much from going from a Nisei to an ARC.

I really hope you did a lot of research already as I found the NISEI to be one of the elite Intercoolers for the Evo(great performance, great quality, great price).
How much one of those ARC intercoolers runs$$$?

Jmartinez,

You know my question was coming.. what makes you think that the ARC is superior? how can you describe in your own words that it is worth going for the ARC and absolutely not considering the NISEI? your quote: hell no!!

In reference to your previous post/response let me tell you that in my particular case with my particular mods I recorded a slight pressure drop and a significant lost of turbo spool up in favor of steady and even higher boost at high rpm (after MBC adjustments).

Thanks!

Carlos

the main reason why im getting the ARC is because i've always wanted it but i wanted to try the nisei before i make the step up. also the nisei intercooler is thicker then the ARC and it is rubbing up against my body kit pushing it out so those are the main reason. purely for cosmetic purposes and no performance. also i know many evo owners that run ARC and they have nothing but good things to say about it as far as performance goes so that is why im upgrading.
