I'm looking for a working transfer case in good condition for my 2003.

 

bump... can anyone tell me how much '03 transfer cases go for right now so I know how much i'm looking at?

 

there is an open diff floating around on here for 200$ that hasnt sold yet

Depends on where you look mitsu its 3000 plus tax shep and tre will build you one for around the same price. If it is the ring and pinion going out and not the Front diff you will be looking at spending that much unless you can find a used one which in the end may end up just like the one in your car. I have been looking pricing and searching everywhere to get one i am having the same problem. good luck and let me know if oyu find something cheaper.

 

i had saw some ring gears some time back for around 300$........

 

I have a 2005 ACD LSD transfer and a 2003 open differential ... just the differential.

I have a TRE (Team Ripp) for 1500, AWESOME piece. forged gears. 3000 must be a transmission, NOT a TC.

 

i would definitely be not want to spend more than $2000 for a TC. did you have your old TC rebuilt by TRE for 1500 or did you buy one from them without an exchange?
