I have a set of barely used 272's. The engine blew 100 miles after they were installed. The journals look a little scored. Not deep at all. I think that they could be smothed out very easily. If you are willing to clean them up you are getting a $550 set of cams with 100 miles for $200. The pic is represenative of the way all of the journals look. The lobes are completly fine. Like new.
