FS: MY05 10.5 hotside $100 + shipping
This is a 10.5 hotside from my 2005 Evo VIII. It has minor damage to one bolt hole but will not affect the bolt from being threaded in. The damage is to the top 3-4 threads 70% of the threads are still there and it will tighten up. This happened when removing it from the car when one of the rusty stock bolts refused to budge and sheared off. I would reuse it but because I bought the ebay 02 housing I want the dual flapper 10.5 hotside since most people report no boost creep when using the ebay housing and the older hotside.
You can see in the pics that I bead blasted it to remove the rust. The part has about 22k miles on it. If the damaged threads bother you, a machine shop (or yourself) can install a helicoil. I feel this is not needed.

If anyone is interested in thei you could probably just have the thread RE THREADED with a tap and die set...sounds like a steal at 100 bux.

I already cleaned the threads with a tap. A die is for the bolts/studs which I cleaned as well. The part is ready to bolt on or have coated ect.

For those who are concerned about the damaged hole. Here are some pics of it I took just tonight when I bolted it up to test the repair. It did tighten up nice. The bolt I am using is longer so you can see it come out the bottom of the hole. For added insurance someone could easily put a nut/lockwasher on the backside and it will stay for sure. (Notice my coated manifold!)
