Short version, tilton has "push style" T.O.B. intergrated in bellhousing, exedy still uses Stock type pull type TOB. Tilton uses 2 7 1/2" discs that have solid hub,
exedy disc's are larger and have sprung center. Tilton clutch/flywheel set-up weighs in at just a bit over 19lbs,exedy is closer to stock weight.
While they both do the same thing they get it done entirely different ways,so to speak. I guess they both have pro's and con's and everyone on this forum will have opinions that vary so it all ends up being personal prefrence. BTW,only reason that this is for sale is I bought 1st and then built 2nd,only to find out that I would be pushing the outter limits that this clutch is rated for so I went out and figured the TILTON Carbon/Carbon will never run into that problem,at least not the set-up that I have, possibly others on this forum make that type of power but I don't believe that I will run into overpowering that clutch....
