My AFI GT42r top mount kit on ebay
somebody please buy this awesome kit. It is the first ever top mount 42r kit that still retains the factory a/c and power steering as seen in Dec. DSport.

they probably give up so much drivability for that kind of power they don't realize it until the first time they step on the gas and realize it's absolutely unneccessary.....
My 600whp evo is 100% totally unneccessary, but i consider it way WAY closer to the borderline than 900whp........
i couldn't imagine giving up any more drivability in my car...............and there probably isn't any comparison between the lag in my 2.3/gt35r compared to a 2.0/gt42r....................
for drag racing it's awesome........for street cars................not so much

So from what i get your detuneing the car because lack of money. As far as the daily driveing goes yes its going to be laggy and you would have to alky&meth to boost your not going to just hit the gas and hit crazy boost no. This is something the person that was building your car should have told you. The car is driveable you just want to have power when you hit the gas you would have it if you ran race gas all the time which would cost way to much. I rather have 35mpg then 18mpg thats just me.
