F/S: 4G94 Lancer Forged Piston & Rod Combo

Update: SOLD!!
Buyer: Silens

I have decided to sell my extra set of forged pistons and forged connecting rods for my 4G94 engine. Wiseco 10:1 pistons and 700hp+ forged Crower rods. I currently have this same setup in my engine with about 30K miles on them. I purchased an extra set of each over the past year as an insurance policy since I can't have any downtime on my car. I purchased the rods straight from Crower about 6 months back. The pistons were bought around the same time. Everything is brand, spanking new and everything is still inside its packaging.

I am asking $900 shipped for the set. I will try to get some pictures up tonight after I get home from work. Accepting offers. Thanks!!

Pete

I'd rather not split up the set for sale. But I will take $700 shipped for the rods

FYI - you do not have to "notch" the block to accomodate these rods like you do for the Pauter rods. And it sure beats the wait time for a set to be made from Crower for more money!

Here's the pics I promised. I'll get some of the pistons up ASAP.

And here's the pistons. They are the ones that were offered from Buschur Racing for the 4G94 with the 10.0:1 compression ratio. I run these with my turbo kit at mid boost and get the best of both worlds. No lag here!

I've always heard that running high comp and boost isnt good, any problems?

I run 13psi on my setup. Nothing too crazy. As far as dyno runs or time slips I don't bother to waste my time at the track. And a dyno sheet means nothing on the street if you can't back it up.

You're right about high compression and boost being bad. Technically 10:1 isn't really high compression. 11.5:1 or 12:1 would be high compression. My setup is comparible to a bolt-on turbo kit for a Focus SVT. It puts out more horsepower than an SRT-4 at less boost due to the higher compression. I havn't tried to push farther than 13psi. My car is my daily driver so I do not tempt fate beyond what I'm comfortable with.
