so if you already have Autronic why spend money and get the AEM?
let me know what you think of the AEM compared to the Autronic when you are done. i would love to get an honest, unbiased opinion on the two. i am stuck deciding which one to get......Autronic seems like its been around Evos way before AEM.

I went AEM becuase I got it CHEAP-CHEAP, a guy had it sitting down for a year uninstalled and NIB...if not I wouldn't have even thought about it LOL I just like to try different stuff on my car. Right now I have 2 sets of cams to test Buschur BF 272's and GSC S2's...currently running GSC 280's....
2 cool features the AEM has are: switchable maps (so you could have a pump map and race gas map at the flip of a switch) and knock monitor (autronic doesn't have it, but I did use a Turbo XS knocklite with the bosch sensor).
I'll try and let you know what I think about the 2 ems...once i've used them. I can tell you though...Autronic has EXCELLENT customer support, they have always responded quickly to any tuning questions I've had.

Honestly I haven't asked about the newer version, cause mine works very well, but that's cool if they start to offer these similar features. I have had this autronic for about 2 1/2 yrs or so, used it flawlessly in my Evo 6 then installed it in my Evo 7.
What's cool with the Autronic, is the 50psi MAP sensor is installed on the computer board, so you just have to run a vacuum hose to it, unlie the AEM which uses an external MAP sensor.
Sean Ivey tuned it for me when I 1st installed it & I asked him if I should go AEM, his response was "why?" the do the samething.
