FS: Used RPS Twin Carbon Clutch
I have a used RPS Twin carbon clutch that needs to be rebuilt. Well, atleast one of the plates do. I called up RPS, and they want $1000 to get everything rebuilt. Its only missing the bolts and the throw out bearing snap ring. Will post some pictures later on today.
Want to get rid of this for cheap, so pm me with offers.

Is this the clutch with the broken rivit? Did rps say they would upgrade the plates to aluminum? There are two rps clutches. The early style had steel plates and didn't shift well as a result. the later style uses aluminum plates and a superior rivet attatchment method.

broken rivit on the pressure plate???
i just pulled this one out on saturday because it was slipping. i only talked to rps for a few moments, and they did not mention anything about aluminum or steel. the disks seems ultra light. I will try to get the date it was put in.
how can i tell? i will snap some pics when i get home from work.

the early steel plates had 4 or 8 rivets holding material on. the aluminum have 16 rivets. the steel plates have cutouts near hub, aluminum have none. if nothing is broken why is rebuild 1000? when they first came out rebuilds were 400. then they raised it to 600. did they skyrocket since then?
