What needs to happen in order to aquire the tuning software?? I really like theese units even the old school ones..Next best thing to not having a VPC+GCC combo

You need to become an HKS Pro Dealer to acquire the software legitimately. Or find someone who knows someone who might "lose" his laptop for a couple of days

stupidity on HKS part not making the software public. just loosing business , plain and simple. who else does that?

Well I don't want this to turn into a discussion about what is a better tuning solution. There are plenty of threads about that. HKS doesn't want just anybody being able to tune their computer because they don't want blown motors caused by poor tuning.

Most of the Fcon is a mystery to me because I haven't seen the software. But I do know that the resolution on the Fcon is 32x32 compared to the 17x21 on the EMS. So that's one thing that's better than the EMS

And as far as ECUFlash - I know people are good with ECUFlash but it is still MAF based and your ignition increments are in full degrees.

Anyhow, there is someone who wants or needs this out there.
