3" outlet as all 35r's that I have owned were.

Just so we are clear here,the 3" that you speak of is the Diameter as pictured below,correct?

ya that is what I am talkin about.
a garrett GT3582R is a 68mm turbine wheel. or 2.67".
I know they use the 2.5 for tight applications but I am not sure how they have 2.5" and 3" housings for a 2.67" wheel and no noticeable transition from the wheel to the outlet

below is the FP HTA35r direct for FP. on their site it says it is a 2.5" outlet
