I haven't seen any tests in a while. I know that BR did some comparisons but that was a few years ago. Other than appearance, I'm not expected to gain any power, right? The stock IC is not too shabby if you know what I mean. Either way, $150 is a nice price even if it is for some "bling" and if this is available after the first I'll take it off of your hands. I have the Injen LICP, so would I run into any issues with mounting?

This intercooler didn't put up much of a fight against Buschurs race intercooler but it's probably better then the stock unit.

That would be an interesting test (Ebay vs. stock). In my opinion, the BR tests although enlightening, are on the extreme side of the spectrum. I, for one, will never have or desire to have a 600+whp monster pushing enormous amounts of boost.

what are you talking about?

This was on a 700whp 9 second car. This intercooler heat soaked at 44psi!.

It had 2psi less pressure drop then the BR unit! thats nuts!.

Yes it made like 23 less whp or something. But it could've been a whole lot more of a loss. at 25psi i think the difference would've been minimal.

Dave set the test up for this smaller unit to fail. He wouldn't do the test on a stock turbo car i'm sure as it would prolly still be a win for the BR race but not enough hp to justify the price.

If you have the money get the BR Race IMO its the best intercooler out. Its proven time and time again. However on a stock turbo/50trim/30r car this intercooler is very decent for the price. Don't base daves test cause what he did isn't what 99% of this forum will use this ic for.

Calm down, no one is bashing this ebay intercooler. I was just stateing BR's test because someone mentioned it, not all new folks on here know about it. I personally think it's better then the stock unit as in heat soak but I wouldn't compare it to some of the top end brands. For the price, it ain't bad.
