2.3L Premium Stroker Motor for Sale In CA.
I will be removing the stroker motor that is in my car to replace it with a new combination. The engine for sale is in near new condition, the block is the original block from the car which has 20k on it. At 18k the motor was pulled and built up into the current configuration. It contains all premium parts: Wiseco 9:1 Pistons, Manley I beam turbo tuff rods, an OEM mitsu 2.4L crank, Mitsubishi rod and main bearings, balance shaft elemination kit, ARP main studs, and ARP head studs. The block when removed was bored and honed with a torque plate, line honed, decked and fully inspected. The entire rotating assembly was balanced. This motor was put together right, no corners cut. Feel free to ask as many questions as you want because I understand many people feel weary about buying a used motor. Again I am only selling this short block because I ended up going with a big turbo which needs some high RPM and I don't want to risk spinning the stroker that high as most experts recommend keeping the revs below 8k. I am looking to get $3500 but reasonable offers will be evaluated.

I do have a head, but it would be extra. The head is ported and polished, 1mm over sized ferrea valves, brian crower springs. I guess if someone wanted a complete long block I could leave the head on, eliminating the need to replace the head gasket. It currently has a cometic HP head gasket installed.

The oil pump is not included, I need it for my new engine. Included in the price is the assembled short block with no accessories. I would not prefer to ship the engine to the UK, but if I have no other offers I will certainly consider it.

Let's please keep this chatter outside of the for sale thread and into PMs. But no I am not kidding, I need the front cover assembly on the short block I am building. Why would I get rid of a perfectly good oil pump? You could easily bolt the one off of your donor motor which you will be transplanting the rest of the accessories from?
