FS: V-band AMS/Vishnu cat-back with HF cat and test pipe
V-band exhaust (cat/test pipe plus cat back sections - in other words, no DP but everything else). This is a combination AMS/Vishnu exhaust: it started out life as a Vishnu Signature series exhaust with HF cat and has been converted to run the AMS vibrant muffler. The catalytic converter has V-band flanges on both ends, so you can easily drop the cat and replace it with the test pipe. - $600 OBO
To recoup, here's what you get:
1.) AMS test pipe - 3" v-bands on both ends
2.) 3" HF cat - part of Vishnu Signature series 3" exhaust - 3" v-bands on both ends
3.) 3" mid-pipe - part of Vishnu Signature series 3" exhaust - 3" v-bands on both ends
4.) 3" axle-back - part of Vishnu Signature series 3" exhaust - 3" v-band
5.) AMS/Vibrant 3" muffler (4" angled tip)
6.) Three (3) 3" V-band clamps
7.) One (1) 3" v-band - not sure if this is re-usable, it was cut off my DP by AMS when I converted to my new muffler setup.
All customization to the system performed by AMS (e.g., adding the v-bands and replacing the broken Magnaflow muffler with the Vibrant muffler).
$395
Price does not include shipping.

Thanks. The idea was to be able to quickly swap the HF cat for the test pipe. However the car was SO loud with the test pipe, that I mostly stuck with the cat.

I originally had the Vishnu Signature series DP. I now run the DP that came with the AMS turbo kit.
As stated, this exhaust includes an extra v-band adapter that may be welded to an existing DP. If for some reason the included v-band adapter cannot be reused, a new adapter can be purchased from ATP, which is where I purchased mine from.
- Link to the normal v-band adapter
- Link to v-band adapter with O2 bung (interesting option for DP, IMO)
Any decent muffler shop should be able to convert a 2 or 3 bolt flanged DP to a v-band flange.

Nope, still got the Evo. Just haven't had any time over the past 9 months. Kinda sucks, too, since I was hoping to fab some aero parts for my Evo over the winter, but besides having no time, I haven't had any extra funds to throw at the car either. Upgrading the whole suspension/aero package is going to cost ... ugh. And to make time even more scarce, I just inherited a '00 A4 that needs to have it's front-end suspension rebuilt.
O.G., eh?

We have been on this forum before people even knew there was an evo available for sale in the states.
Good luck with the A4/ Evo aero progress
