FS: FL Injen FMIC.

For Sale:

Injen FMIC off my 2005 Evo MR. Used, no problems, works great, fits with no cutting/trimming. Much more efficient than the stock FMIC. When running dyno runs on the stock unit, got no more than 3 runs before the stock one was seriously heatsoaked. With this unit, sat on the dyno for tuning and 14-15 pulls, no problems. Much superior unit, imo.

Pictures are below.

Looking for $525 + Shipping, OBO. Thanks for looking.

Because i road raced. You want HOT, LONG, HIGH LOAD pulls. when you're not pulling timing and your water temp is 215 ish, and the oil is HOT, thats a good road racing tune.

it's not a magic number. Its adjust, keep everything warm, run it. Make some more adjustments, run it. none of this, 3rd gear, let it cool for 15 minutes stuff.

Road racing is much harder on an engine than a 13 second pass. in a given lap, you're wide open throttle for 60-70% of the lap. at sebring, in a 2.30 lap, thats full boost for roughly 1:45 out of every 2 1/2. now go out and run 15-20 laps.

Thats why a tune thats right on the edge, and is pulling timing on a dyno, is completely undesireable out on track.

Injen's site says 23 3/4" x 11 3/4" x 3 3/8"

If i remember, no trimming or cutting needed. However, i normally didn't run an undertray, but I do remember running it a few times with the intercooler, and it not being a problem.
