FS: Cosworth Dual Valve Springs and Titanium Retainers $550
#1
Sold
Update - Price reduced to $500
Up for sale is a set of Cosworth Dual Valve Springs and Titanium Retainers with about 3000 miles or less on them. I just bought a Cosworth head that already has them as well as the cams so these are not necessary anymore.
It is important to note that the Retainers are the gold here and that the price of this set is dramatically more than only the springs as a result. Retail on just the springs is $289, but throw in the Titanium Retainers and the retail price jumps to $699 :-o
Good up to 10,500 rpms, but even if your ***** aren't quite that big, these will be the thing that allows you to increase your rev limit up in the mid to high 8000's with no problem at all.
Here are pics of the actual item(s), a link to the Cosworth description: http://www.cosworth.com/shop_item.php?productid=527, and a link to the RRE thread with some indirect discussion/info http://www.socalevo.net/forum/index.php?topic=30391.0
