I'll check the wiring, it looks like everything is there, and as for manuals you can download them off of the msd website

Ok, I went into the garage and layed out all of the wiring, everything looks to be there. I took some pictures, you can see the large wire that is the main harness, along with the few wires comming out of the unit that will have to be spliced into the car's wiring. Finally if you look closely you will see a light blue wire that goes into some wire loom and has a red button at the end, that is launch control, that can be set to whatever rpm much like the clutch activated switch on evo's. Let me know if I can answer any other questions.

had a 2g and it worked great. From my understanding, it takes the spark and instead of it firing once, it fires in multispark form, like four sparks very quickly instead of one long one. It gave me better gas mileage as well, and the ability to adjust the timing/rev limits by simply flipping switches. It also has launch control that is activated via a little red button, which you can also adjust what rpm it is set at.

After doing some research they now sell a plug and play wiring harness for this ignition for 26.60 that allows you to not have to do all the splicing that would normally be necessary for the install.

More Info:
Four cylinder distributorless ignition applications (with two coil packs) will benefit from the incredible spark energy of the the new MSD Programmable DIS-2 Ignition Control as well as its ignition programming capabilities! MSD"s CD circuits work with state-of-the-art IGBT coil drivers to deliver a spark with 190 mj of spark energy! Below 3,300 rpm, there is series of multiple sparks that burns in the cylinder for 20° producing a smooth idle with great throttle response. You get to control all of this spark energy through an incredible array of timing and rpm programs. The heart of the Programmable DIS-2 is a 15Mh microprocessor that reviews, analyzes and manages every trigger signal and is capable of up to 15 million instructions per second! The end result is a powerful ignition control with endless programming capabilities to produce reliable performance.
