Agreed.......gettin new synchros anyways on a rebuild so whats it matter wether 3rd is messed up???

So you can personally guarantee that the gears are not worn? I bought a 5 speed a while back and it had a "bad synchro" dropped it off to Buschur and got a call from Daniel telling me that it would need some new gears or don't count on it holding power.

When the synchro goes bad and you continue to drive it then the gear itself is going to wear. Simple math.

BTW I bought my Evo IX 5speed with 9k with the linkage, box and everything needed for the 5speed swap in my MR for 1100 shipped.
