I have a 2005 evo 8 MR 6 speed transmission. I took it apart to inspect for damage and that is how it sits. The 4th gear itself as well as the mating gear on the main shaft are damaged. Other then that the trans is mint including the synchros as seen in the pics.

I also have the following to go along with it and it is everything needed to convert your 5 speed into a 6 speed.

6 speed shifter assy.
6 speed teflon coated shifter cables
6 speed upper transmission mount
6 speed vehicle speed sensor harness (uncut)
6 speed cable mounts

Bellhousing and outer trans. case are clean and in perfect condition as well as the other hardware. The ONLY damage to this transmission is the issue with 4th gear. It shifted great when removed and made zero gear noise in any gear before the 4th gear failure.

When the 4th gear failed the car was immediately stopped and towed away to prevent further damage.
