Looking to trade my MIL.SPEC 65mm TB for a stock 2003-2004 evo 8 throttle body. Your TB must include all the sensors.

Not sure if 2005+ will work.

As far as I know, 2003-2006 throttle bodies will work. Any pictures of the throttle body? very interested. I'm looking for one as I had a local deal go bad out here by some punk.

 

My engine is sort of torn down at the moment. It's just a stock ported throttle body..


I'll get more pics later. Anyway, unless you want to ship your TB to me first for me to try. If it works i'll send mine out. I don't want to send my TB out and i'm screwed with an IX TB.

 

If someone was to send their TB, would you be test fitting it, or are you going to want to hold it and wait till you get your motor back together? I am interested and have an 03.

 

My motor will be back together by Tuesday next week. If someone sends me their TB and it works, I'll send the MIL.SPEC TB ASAP.. It's just too bad that who ever wants to trade will have to trust me.

I've been on this board for 5 years. I'm not out to rip anyone off. Locals are welcome to come by and swap their part with mine as well..

 

How many miles on it? I have an 04 with 36k on it.

 

It has about 40k on it. I've cleaned the tb so it's pretty much spotless.

 

 

Do I need to retune my car for this?

 

I didn't retune for about 5000 miles.
