Mach V header vs stocker
Price drop to 360 for cyber Monday!!!
I have a mach V header professionally coated (at a cost of $175.00) to 2000*F It even has a a EGT sensor so you can get a EGT gauge for your car and tune to that. Tuning to EGT is the best way of making lots of power and not burning up you engine. A must have for anyone who wants to tune their engine or even for the serious racer.
Looking for $420 because of the addition of the EGT sensor, a real must have. You can get a brass cap from the hardware store and take the EGT sensor out if you don't want to run it all the time. This make great power through the whole range, I seen it on the dyno. It is a nice equal length header. I hope the next racer likes it. Josh
The header has about 1000 miles on it and I forgot to mention it has been gasket matched with the Mitsubishi gaskets, and it's welds have been cleaned up inside by my local machine shop who works on race cars. So it flows a lot better than an off the shelf one. Enjoy

an egt is a very slow - inaccurate method for tuning. It is slow to react to bumps in temp due to knock and poor to show when your running to much timing.
Its one step up from the idiot light narrowband AFR guage in my book. WBO2, and knock is how "real" tuners tune.. fyi.
Good luck with the sale - Nice manifold.
You may want to include if its just a color coating - or if it has thermal retention/blocking properties... IE Ceramic coating.

The car has an EGT because I was told it was one of the best ways to prevent melted pistions, and this tuner said although slow on some EGT's, most are good data to have when tuning.
Also, you are right this has been thermal bariered on the inside and out with a 2000*F Black ceramic coating. Thanks, Josh
