FS:SHEPTRANS 2006 IX RS Transfercase

This is a stage 3 TC with Quaife diff with ACD removed. pm for price

For those wanting more traction and improved reliability we take your transfer transfer case and install a Quaife Limited Slip Differential and reshim your transfer case. We feel the Quaife is the strongest available helical LSD for the EVO. On this upgrade we also upgrade the front differential cover bolts from 8mm to 10mm bolts and now add Heli-Coils to prevent side cover deflection and bolt pullout which allows a poor contact patch and failure of the ring and pinion.

Included Features:
•Quaife LSD front differential with lifetime warranty
•8mm to 10mm bolt upgrade
•New seals and o-rings
•Reshimming
•Neodymium magnet
•REM ISF Process

0 miles sitting in the box. Just picked it up today from AWD. It is his best TC, so whatever he does, he does. REM, ISF, and a bunch of other stuff I dont understand LOL... It handled 804 whp and 7200 rpm launches with zero failures. I sent it to him when I bought the car because of the whine. He did the rebuild and replaced the ring and pinion which was over 2k and the quaife for 1500. Then I just sent it to him for a quick once over and the bill was 900. My price is 2500 OBO unless you have a good core.

1800. I'll give 700 for a good core. Its steep I know, but I have over 4500 in this thing. If I dont get decent money I might as well keep it as a spare. I think 1800 is fair since its new, converted to non acd, and has the Quaife diff in it.

When you are drag racing you are not taking advantage of the ACD. So there is no point in having it. The benefit is alot of weight reduction. The pump, lines, and parts inside weigh a ton. It was a good mod and worth every penny. I'm working on a car that I can do track days with on a road course so I will want ACD...
