This thread was quite a laugh...
I sincerely hope 2k isnt too much as i just posted my stock tranny in working condition as a feeler and i am expecting to get a good chunk of change for it. 2000 for a tranny that has already been built and has barely been used is a phenominal price... especially since stock trannys with small grinds have been selling for 1200 to 1500 lately.
Best of luck with sale.

It could have 5000 launches on it just as easily as 5000 miles driven to grand ma's house

$2000 is abit high on Shep transmission thats used ( 5000 of abusive miles ) ...you dont really need to purchase a brand new transmission for it to be rebuild, used 5spd transmission that needs a rebuild cost $700-$900...send it out to shep, + $1850 = $2550 + john will throw-in incentives and cover shipping...but thats $2550 for BRAND NEW BUILT TRANSMISISON

I was just saying, in the instance that i sent my own transmission to shep. just saying, it'd be cheaper to send to shep to get the work than pay someone an extra 200 for the same thing....it'd be even cheaper if i already had a 5 speed...which i do....the only upside to this whole sale is that i wouldn't have hardly any down-time...so unless someone is looking for a transmission within the week, i doubt this will sale... good luck though!

Great transmission guys.
I was reading some of the posts and I want to clarify something. This transmission does not have "5000 launches" on it. Its 5000 daily driven miles. The guy that owned the evo before me was a school teacher and only had work done at a reputable shop where he lived (New York), DG Motorsports. So rest assured, the transmission "shifts like butter" (as the previous owner liked to say).
Morning bump.

I've never had them do any of my work, but from how my car looks being torn down, they seem to do pretty good work.
None the less, I'm not here to protect the shops name. Just saying, that's who installed it.
"Just got done volunteering at the hospital" bump
