84mm? Did you mean either the 64 or the 80?

There is no 80mm. It's either 64mm or 84mm surge port.

What they are reffering to is compressor covers. Forced Performance gives you a choice of two compressor covers for the White, Green HTA73 and Red. The first is a stock appearing 74mm cover, which has been known to cause compressor surge at higher boost levels. The second is a 84mm compressor cover w/surge port. This compressor cover allows better flow through the compressor wheel and help stop compressor surge when lugging the engine at low RPMs and high boost pressures. Most people that are looking at the new Red, would want to choose the 84mm cover, unless you MUST have a stock appearing turbo. The FP Black turbo only comes in the 84mm surge port cover, for obvious reasons.

Both the FP red and black use the 84mm anti surge housing. The black uses an 82mm HTA compressor wheel. I believe the red uses a 76HTA compressor wheel.

Hopefully this is still available tomorrow when my bike sells.
