FS: 2003 Evo VIII 5 speed transmission and transfer case
Serious inquiries only!!
I have just had a newly rebuilt TRE trans and t-case installed into my car and am looking to recover some of the cost by selling the parts that came off my car. No issues with either the TC or tranny, the swap was done purely to change transmission ratios and to install a front LSD.
The parts were taken off the car with 48K miles on the clock. Car was bought new in April 2004.
2003 Evo 8 5-speed transmission - $1200 shipped in the continental US.
2003 Evo 8 non-ACD Transfer case - $OLD shipped in the continental US.
These prices are firm. I'm not in a big hurry to get rid of these, so please do not bother to lowball. Also, I will not ship these items outside of the continental US. Both items are still boxed up the way they were shipped back to me from TRE, so I don't have pics yet. Located in the SW Chicago suburbs.

No, no work has been performed on the transmission. I don't drag race my car, just the occasional HPDE track day. Never had a problem shifting at up to 9000 RPM. Honestly, apart from the slightly different gear ratios, I can't tell the difference between my old trans and the rebuilt TRE trans in my car now.
