I have a year old (15K miles) 84MM FP Red with a Buschur Stock Ported Exhaust Manifold and a Megan O2 Housing. I'll get pics tonight if needed.

The turbo has shaft play...alot actually. It needs rebuilt. I bought it Ported from FP with the upgraded wastegate actuator.

Take everything for $1200 shipped obo!!

Also have a 3" AMS downpipe used for about 20K miles. It's the 3 bolt style flange.

I'll just take best offer on that. Maybe like $150 Shipped?

Why so much shaft play, what happened? FP wont cover something like that under warranty?

 

Not sure what happened, I was using Mobile 1 though and apparently thats a big no no. I was just doing a 2nd gear pull and the car made a pop and no more boost. It has enough play where it will hit the housing.

 

were you running the fp oil housing line like they recommend?

 

Yes was running the oil line.

Don't want this thread to go off-topic anymore than it already has. The turbo's blown, someone could come out way ahead by buying it and sending it in for a rebuild or to upgrade it to a black. I pushed the turbo pretty hard (32+PSI) and it was a blast.

 

Sorry bout that. Just to remind people that a rebuild for a FP turbo is 410$ roughly. So you can have a really good turbo, header and o2 housing for a rough price of 1610. Good deal imo. GL with sale

 

That rebuild cost does not include a replacement compressor wheel.

 

Fyi FP black is 750.00 upgraded from a red includes rebuild also new wheels and houseing more then likely. The IX to red with porting and hta housing and shipping is 1276 so this is more for someone that wants a black sorry op not trying to be rude ok.

 

My friend just upgraded his 64mm red to a black it was 900 about a month ago

 

It was a $900 because his Red was a 64MM.....
