This turbo started off as a BBK full, and lasted about 2000 miles. I heard a howl sound coming onto boost and after inspection I saw the compressor wheel touching the housing. The shaft never broke.

The turbo was sent to Blouch, maker of BBK turbos, which said the turbo was unrepairable and that it happened due to overspeeding caused by boost leaks.

The turbo was sent to FP and I asked them if they could do someting with the turbo, as I did want to loose the $1600 I paid for the unit.

Fp check the turbo and said they could make it into a Green HTA which was done. (Thanks heavens for fp, I could salvage some of the turbo )

It is for practical reasons brand new and come with a 84mm anti surge housing and 18 psi act. (As I believe my BBK failed due to surge, only my opinion!)

I am looking for $1300 plus shipping and paypal fees.
I am also open to offers...

Forgot to mention it is totally ported. Turbo is in the USA texas.

 

Sorry but why are you selling this if it's just been rebuilt?

 

What boost were you running it at before it failed?

 

any proof of the rebuild?

I due to the time blouch took to review the bbk for warranty I bought a HTA green.
Then this bbk was converted to green hta... so this is extra

any check can be done with amber at FP

And this turbo has been happily seeing 26 psi everday and feels great! I love it and thank you.

 

So is this turbo still up for grabs?

Nice!....according to you sig mod wise we're on similar level...well except for the FP Green and Injectors.....how's the turbo treating you? Any idea of what kindo of numbers you are seeing with your current setup?

 

I'm not sure lol. I'm on 25-26 psi to redline and it pulls like a mad man. I'm going to retune on 28 psi and hit up our local dyno (mustang).

But there is no comparison between this turbo and the evo ix. It is amazing.
