FS: R&R Billet CNC'd STEEL connecting rod set STOCK length

SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD

I've got a Brand New, in the Box, set of R&R connecting rods for sale. They are 150mm length, and can be used in stock 2.0 builds, some 2.1 builds, and 2.3 builds -- any build that uses a stock length rod.

R&R rods are CNC'd directly from steel billet, using the highest strength steel available -- Mil Spec Aircraft Quality Double Re-Melt E4340AQ Chromoly Steel (Similar to 300M Specifications) Manley's 300M rods sell for $1,000; Mil Spec's similar rods sell for $1,500...!

They are a fully machined BILLET rod, which are then Triple Tempered, Surface Peened and Through Hardened, Cryogenically Treated, and Balanced individually and in sets to +/- 1.0 Gram. They are then Magnaflux Inspected and Rockwell Tested. I don't know of any other manufacturer who does all of these processes to their rods standard.

R&R uses high end ARP Fasteners and AMPCO 45™ Bushings in the small ends of the rods -- top quality component parts for strength and reliability.

R&R Rods are used by Brent Rau in his record setting 4g63 Eclipse, which has gone 6.94@198+, motor built by Magnus Motorsports, which use R&R in their high end motor builds, and English Racing uses them, too.

Magnus has tested these rods to over 11,000 RPM.

Magnus price for these rods is $829.00 plus shipping. http://magnusmotorsports.com/product...teel-con-rods/

Thanks for reading.

Thanks for the kind observation and the bump

They will make a great start to a bulletproof rotating assembly for some lucky buyer.

For sure man but I'm serious. If these had come up months ago I would have forgotten about the Manleys I had made in a heartbeat Someone will def jump on these quickly as this is like same price you'd pay for the turbo tuff's alone.

Curt, I called R&R this morning and they took one off the shelf and weighed it on their digital scale. It weighs 606 grams.

For comparison's sake, the Manley Turbo Tuff I-beam rod in 300M (Manley #15403-4) weighs 685 grams, according to the Manley catalog here: http://www.manleyperformance.com/dl/2011/rods.pdf

Not bad, I'm looking at some 410 gram Ti rods at the moment
