CBRD and a blown BBK-B...? I am willing to bet that they will stand by their product as a warranty. I believe according to the CBRD portal, that you have "x" miles of a warranty under your belt with their products. Do you know if the turbo was examined by them to determine the cause?

Yes the original owner of the turbo sent it in to CBRD to be examined. He told me they Voided the warranty because of using the wrong oil and oil contamination. I personally have not contacted them to see how much it would cost to get rebuilt as Im sticking with my FP HTA 71 for now.

Thank You

theres a thread here on the site telling why the turbo got messed up but to make a somewhat long thread short, the turbo had been taken apart and stuff by many people during the process of chroming the compressor cover and some other things and that the failure had nothing to do with CBRD building the turbo.
edit: found the thread with links to posts https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/9317621-post556.html and https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/9317642-post557.html and one more https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/9318310-post576.html

I see. Does that mean that CBRD will rebuild the turbo for the next person that buys it?

Wow! I was only asking about rather or not CBRD would do the rebuild as it is their turbo so that the next owner could get it back on the road. I know that the BBK Full is a nice turbo. I did not think me asking would turn the thread along this path. Sorry...
