FS: evo9 turbo with FP anti-surge cover (FAPC)
Like the topic states i've got an evo9 turbo with 49k miles on it, had it sent to FP at 48k to have Robert install the FP antisurge cover, new circlip, and a new o-ring.
turbo ran stock boost up until 41k miles and from 41k-49k miles a max of a 30psi spike while on e85. ran car most of the time at 25psi and on pump gas. turbo spools fast, sounds healthy and SICK due to the ported cover.
at 41k when i modded the car there was a **** hair worth of in and out play. at 49k the in and out play was the sameso in other words, minimal to no shaft play. just being 100% honest. i'd have no worries about running this turbo. To show how healthy the turbo is, it trapped 120 on 29-30psi before my shift fork roll pin back out
also one stud is kind of cross threaded. happened to me when i pulled the turbo at 41k to install an o2 housing, when i put it back on i used some anti-sieze to tighten the stud and it was fine.
